Restaurant Review: Ming Garden, Dim sum and Chef's Table

Orlando foodies if you're looking for the newest spot to go eat you need to try Ming Garden 明珠閣, a traditional Chinese restaurant which offers dim sum on a trolley cart (weekends only) and via a la carte during the rest of the week.

@minggarden.orlando also offers a chef's table by request, hosted by the co-founder and chef, Yan, who has 35 years of experience in hospitality and previously owned an Italian restaurant, Arabella's.

First course: Manhattan Seafood Chowder

Second course: Shrimp Caesar Salad

Third course: Fried shrimp balls with Chef Yan's sauce

Fourth course: Oyster with black bean sauce

Main entree: Ginger Scallion Lobster, Shrimp & Scallops with Longevity Noodles

Dessert: Banana Foster

IYKYK @juju.orl is a trendy Japanese Izakaya restaurant that also offers an omakase experience at their Kappo bar. Reservations are not needed for the Izakaya room, but are required for the omakase. Some of our favorite dishes from the Izayaka menu include Wagyu Gyoza, Yakitori (Momo and Negima), Kushiyak beef tenderloin, and Mentaiko Udon is my personal favorite.
